Listen. We never aspired to be the Jack of this trade, just masters of it. As a result, there are a few "beers" you won't see on tap here soon. Cherry-ginger stout. Zima® infused doppelbock. Weak beer made from rice, tofu, or coconut shavings.

We brew true to form American and English ales. No they won't rot your teeth. Yes they might kick them in. Take a moment to learn why.

Ale Asylum Golddigger Blond 2004 BRONZE at World Beer Cup!! This golden ale is light and well balanced, meaning there is no lingering aftertaste on your palate. Its ultra clean palate is reminiscent of a European pilsner.
Ale Asylum Hopalicious Pale Ale This beer is a “classic” American pale ale; very clean and balanced, with generous additions of cascade hops from the northwest. Unlike our other ales, the purgatory is “dry hopped” two days after the initial brew to obtain a crisp, yet floral flavor and aroma.
Angelic '99 Shilling Scotch Ale This strong, malty amber beer is brewed in the Scottish tradition, minus the kilts. The �99 shilling� terminology refers to an old Scottish system of using monetary increments to designate how strong a beer is. Although most scotch ales are between 60 and 80, ours is a robust �99.
Enchanted Abbey 2003 SILVER MEDAL at GABF!! The delicate floral aroma of this ale is patterned after traditional Belgian abbeys. It is medium bodied with a fruity nose, a nice compliment to its light, sweet finish.
Angelic Harvest Moon Hefe Weizen A Hefe Weizen is a light, unfiltered German wheat ale. Typically, these beers are known for their spicy and fruity flavors. Our hefe is a perfect example of this, bringing to mind clove and banana characteristics. Achieving this was possible due to a special strain of yeast imported from Germany.
Devil's Dubble 2002 BRONZE at the World Beer Cup! This traditional Belgian Dubble has a fruitty aroma, dark red to light brown hue and is full bodied with a devilish kick!

Pagan Porter Our porter is a medium to heavy bodied, robust beer, with an unmistakable hop character.
Ale Asylum Tripel Nova The Angelic Brewing Company proudly presents this authentic Belgian-style Trappist ale from the Ale Asylum. This light bodied ale is dry and fruity. It is fermented at least three times what a normal ale would be, while using roughly triple the ingredients.
Ale Asylum Big Slick Stout 2003 SILVER MEDAL at GABF!! This thick and creamy full-bodied stout is made with seven different malts, which creates a rich and complex flavor. It has a slightly sweet and fulfilling palate and is a perfect example of the richness that oatmeal stouts possess.
Ale Asylum Madtown Nutbrown Our nutbrown ale is a medium to heavy bodied beer with a smooth and creamy texture. Its texture is the result of carefully blending six different malts and three different hops.
Big Red Ale Big Red Ale is brewed in the Irish tradition of red ales. It is a perfectly balanced, glassy smooth beer. Its initial “hoppy” snap is complimented nicely by the rich, malty finish.
Liberator Doppelbock A very full body characterizes traditional Doppelbocks. They have a deep, rich caramel malt flavor and aroma. A thick velvety texture is also a trademark of these beers, and the Angelic Liberator Doppelbock is a gold medal winning example of this strong German Lager.
Ale Asylum Ambergeddon This beer drinker's beer is extremely assertive, heavily hopped, full bodied and "big", which contrasts its delicate floral aroma.
Capital Winter Skal A seasonal Vienna from the Capital Brewery in Middleton, WI. It is a pleasingly warming beer with it's amber hue showing off it's rich malt heritage. Mildly bittered with a smooth hop flavor complementing the malt. Winter Skal makes a person welcome the onslaught of the cold. Available November through January.
Capital Oktoberfest Brewed in Middleton, WI; his traditional marzen beer shows off a gorgeous, fiery amber color. The flavor emphasizes a rich, almost "toasted" flavor from the malt. A classic style beer. It is a seasonal so get it while it lasts (Aug-Oct)!
Capital Autumnal Fire Brewed in Middleton, WI; this seasonal is a blazing rich beer, it is a doppelbock based on an Octoberfest personality. Warm and intriguing, the perfect "Brandy Snifter" beer. A "Capital" seasonal that will ontl be around through September.
Lake Louie Tommy Porter Brewed out of south central Wisconsin Lake Louie crafts some of the finest brews in the state. The Tommy Porter is a smooth, full-bodied beer. A rich "nuts & berries" flavor followed by a coffee-like finish. Based on the traditional English Porter beers of the late 1800's.
Lake Louie Prairie Moon Bgn Wit Brewed in south central Wisconsin the Prairie Moon Wit beer has a big vanilla aroma...also, ginger, some spicy wheatiness, orange peel, lemon, grains of paradise, perhaps a bit of honey too..some black pepper notes as well.. Body is lighter side of medium...refreshingly citrusy...flavors really blend nicely...from the crisp wheat spiciness, to a bit of a vanilla/honey sweetness, to a lemon grass, orange peel spritziness...
Tyranena Bitter Woman A great IPA out of Wisconsin that is known by hop heads around the world. the Bitter Woman pours a nice slightly hazy amber with a cream head. Flavor is a real sound citrus bittersweetness, with a good malty backbone. Palate is a nice oily and viscous feel that ends with a good sharpness. A fine brew.
New Glaurus Spotted Cow A Wisconsin favorite! The New Glarus Spotted Cow is brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.
Hausmann Pale Ale Paying homage to the original occupants of what is now the Angelic Brewing Company the Hausmann Pale ale makes its comback on our taps. The pale has a clean straw color with a smaller off white head. Mild aromas of pale malt and mild hopsack. Faily thick in feel for appearance. Light sweet malt start with a lightly acidic hops backbrop. Some light fruit amid the frey. A standard american golden ale.
Fat Squirrel Nut Brown Ale 100% Wisconsin malt of six different varieties impart the natural toasted color to the bottle conditioned unfiltered ale. Clean hazelnut notes result from these carefully chosen barley malts. Hops from Slovenia, Bavaria and the Pacific Northwest give Fat Squirrel from New Glarus Brewing its backbone.
Lake Louie Warped Speed Scotch Ale Brewed in the classic Scotch Ale style dating back to the 1700's, with a deep reddish brown color. Full Body, sweetness and flavor. Higher in alcohol content but possessing a smooth and lightly hopped finish. This is for the big beer drinker!
Red Seal Ale This pale ale comes to us from the North Coast Brewery in Fort Bragg, Ca. Its malts and hops are beutifully married in this full bodied, copper-red pale ale. The Red Seal is generously hopped in a traditional manner that provides it with a long, spicy finish.
Bell's Oberon An American wheat ale brewed with Saaz hops. Spicy and fruity the oberon is the color and scent of a summer afternoon.
Bell's Two Hearted Ale This IPA is well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the upper penninsula. American malts and enormous hops give this beer a crisp finish and and incedible floral aroma.
Oscar's Chocolate Oatmeal Stout Sand Creek's Chocolate Oatmeal Stout is a very full bodied yet smmoth drinking stout with a complex nutty finish. Gold medal winner in the 2000 World Beer Cup - Oatmeal Stout Category.
Dogfish 60 Min IPA A powerful East coast IPA with a powerful citrus hop. Very assertive and yet pleasantly quaffable this beer is for the serious hop head!

Smithwick's Irish Ale Made by Guiness in Ireland, Smithwick's is inspired by Joh Smithwick's original recipe, which was first brewed at St. Francis Abbey in Kilkenny, Ireland. St. Francis Abbey has been in operation since 1710, amking it one of the oldest Irish breweries.
Summit Extra Pale Ale Summit's first born flagship beer. Extra Pale Ale has a pronounced hop flavor and a light bronze color. Brewed since 1986, there is not a beer lover in the Twin Cities that isn't familiar with this beer.
Capital Maibock Brewed in Middleton, WI, this bock beer has a beutiful golden hue. A special brewing processresults in a very solid, malty beer that is made to welcome the upcoming spring.
Capital Wisconsin Amber Ale Loosely based on Vienna style , Wisconsin Amber is a rich malty lager balanced out with a mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor. Very fullfilling, very drinkable.
Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss Select malted wheat, Cluster hops and a hint of Wisconsin honey give this unique refresher a clean, crisp slighty sweet taste. A light filtered weiss that is refreshing and clean.
Capital Fest This wonderful beer from Capital Brewery in Middleton, WI has a deep golden hue and a smooth malty flavor with a clean pleasant finish. Imported German malts are used to create the flavor of this festive beer. It is a seasonal available from May through July.
Capital Island Wheat Capital's Island Wheat Ale is classified as an American Wheat Ale style brew. Island Wheat captures all of the classical elements of this style, while adding its own twist to the mix.
Summit Maibock This Maibock From Summit is a malty, pale beer brewed using the Czech Saaz hops, specialty malts and German Lager yeasts. A classic Maibock for May Day celebrations!
Bell's Pale Ale A refreshing, blond colored pale ale. Bell’s pale ale is made almost exclusively from pale malt. It expresses a spicy floral hop aroma and taste.
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale A seasonal IPA from Sierra Nevada, this beer contains generous portions of barley malts and fine whole hops of several varieties, creating a brew with a full, rich and hearty character.
